Born in Albenga, she began studying piano aged 5. She studied at the L. Cherubini Conservatory in Florence under Alessandro Specchi, obtaining the five-year secondary school diploma in Musical Arts (Maturità Artistica Musicale). She then obtained a BM with full marks under Norberto Capelli, and an MM cum laude at the Perugia Conservatory.
She furthered her studies with Carlo Grante and Fabio Bidini. She has played as soloist with important Italian and international orchestras such as the “Archi della Scala” (Mozart K.271 e K. 449); Teatro Regio Orchestra of Turin (Mozart K.467); “Filarmonica '900” - Teatro Regio of Torino (Mozart Double Concerto K.361); Teatro Petruzzelli Chamber Orchestra in Bari (K.414), Perugia and Umbria Symphony Orchestra; Guido Cantelli Orchestra in Milan (Mozart K.488, K.413, K.415); Lombardy Chamber Orchestra, S. Prokofieff Donetsk National Philharmonic Orchestra in Ukraine (Mozart K.466), Plodvid State Philharmonic (Beethoven-Concerto no.3); State Symphony Orchestra of Shoumen, Bulgaria; Dinu Lipatti State Orchestra of Satu-Mare, Romania; Kuban Symphony Orchestra of Krasnodar, Russia (Beethoven Concerto no.1); Orchestra Filarmonica Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau, Romania. She also performed in many important theaters, locations and seasons including Teatro Regio in Turin, Auditorium del Conservatorio in Perugia, Sala Verdi and Sala Puccini at Milan's Conservatory, Teatro dal Verme in Milano, Teatro dell’Opera del Casinò in Sanremo, Teatro degli Animosi in Carrara, Teatro Petrarca in Arezzo, Plodvid and Shoumen Concert Halls (Bulgaria), Municipal Concert Hall in Krasnodar (Russia) and Sala Ateneu of Bacau (Romania).
She took part in television and radio recordings both in Italy and abroad, the latest of which was broadcast by Mediaset's Rete4 with “I Solisti dell’Orchestra Cantelli” in Mozart's Concert K.414 conducted by Alberto Veronesi and published on DVD for EGA-LIBRI Turin with the book “Afghanistan – la Cultura come sfida per la ricostruzione”. With the “Archi della Scala” she recorded a CD of Mozart's K.271 “Jeunehomme” Concerto.
On 7th November 2005, after 22 years of war, she was the first Western woman to hold a Recital in Kabul for the Opening of the “Victoria Music School”, and she was Artistic Director and Piano Vising Professor at the Department of Fine Arts in Kabul.
From 2010 to 2015 she was appointed by the Regione Toscana to serve as Executive Member of the Orchestra Regionale Toscana (ORT) Foundation. Since 2005 she teaches Piano – now as a tenured teacher – at the Liceo Musicale of Arezzo; since January 2018 she was entrusted by the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with the chair of Piano Practice in the three-year BM Degree in Vocal Arts at CaMu, Arezzo House of Music.
