Pianist Pietro De Maria holds a masterclass of the Casa della Musica di Arezzo. The masterclass will take place from Monday 9th to Friday 13th September 2019 and it includes three individual lessons with the Maestro, and a showcase concert with the best students on Friday 13th .

The Masterclass will be complemented with two lessons by Mauro Buccitti, a well known and much appreciated  piano tuning master, on some essential notions required in order to thoroughly understand and fully master the instrument: its phasing, its evolution up to the modern instrument, principles of tuning, mechanics and intonation, also in relation to performance choices.

Many thanks to the Liceo Musicale Petrarca, Casa della Musica's next-door neighbour, for kindly making available some of their classrooms for our Masterclass participants to study during their stay in Arezzo.
